Awesome urn, exceptional value

This is a very nice urn that I would highly recommend. We bought it for my sister who liked fancy things and nice jewelry. I joked that it was perfect for her because I thought it looked "Classy with just a hint of gaude", so fit her taste exactly. It truly is a classy urn. The detail is real good. If you looked close you could see a few over-runs on the engraving, which I think just adds to the authenticity of it being hand-engraved. It also has a SLIGHTLY rough feel, again displaying the hand-engraved nature of the vessel. Neither of these is visible just a few inches away if that is a concern of yours. It is eye-catching. In fact, when the funeral director pulled down the cloth cover it comes in, he kind of did a double-take. The screw-on lid is just a bit rough, but it goes on pretty easily with little effort and seals nicely. Compared to the normal selection one gets at a funeral home, this is a real steal for the price. You would most likely pay three-to-four times as much for an urn that can't hold a candle to this one in appearance.

It took me almost 9 months to decide on an Urn for my dad. My dad loved working with his hands. He thought me so much by doing so. The fact that this urn is hand carved really stuck out to me. I wasn't sure how it would look upon arrival. Well I love it. It's not perfect but I think that's what makes it so unique. You can tell it is done by hand. I really believe he would approve for his final resting place being in this urn.

I obtained two Urns, one for my mother and one for my son.
They're both excellent quality and came in the same color/hue/shade as the image(s) on seller's site/page.
I chose these as they best-filled the criterion I personally desired; I wanted a screw/threaded cap, not another cap-type. I also preferred metal (both are Brass) for its durability, although I did entertain some marble pieces as well. I also wanted a particular color/scheme and while I wasn't particular to any specific design, I wanted any such design to be elegant and these deliver in that area: Caveat, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lastly, even though I wasn't receiving full cremains of my loved ones, I did prefer to have the full-sized urn(s) as-if I did/do have the full cremains/remains.
While I hope I do not have to do so any time soon, I would purchase this product again, even though, I technically did already.
