If you're here because you bought a Genesis that came with the RF unit then this is a Suitable item to buy if you want a better quality image. Keep in mind that to receive the best image possible out of these cables you will need be using it on a CRT and not an HD TV.
If you're going to be using your genesis on an HDTV then you are better off getting a high quality Scart Cable and an upscaler that can convert the image for your HDTV. If you use the Composite cable then it wont look as good as it would on a CRT.
