Good deal for the price. You get what you pay for.

First and foremost I can say with no reservations, that for the price I paid, I am very satisfied. (I got both the male and female manikin and the hand manikin as a one price package deal.) That said, these comments might be of interest: On the two full body manikins I received, the joints in general are a little bit more limited in movement than I would like, but still very usable except for the leg-hip joints. The leg-hip joints work basically in the forward and backward motion only (like running). That is to say right out of the box I couldn't pose a martial arts side kick type movement for example. The hip will not move that way. Obviously this is not a limitation if you are not interested in leg side motion, but I am, so for the price I paid, I thought it was worth the risk of breaking the joint to make a modification to get the extra flexibility, so I carefully removed the hip ball joint from the lower torso, made a bushing from a section of a drinking straw, and reinstalled the ball joint. And it worked. So now the leg-hip joint ball can rotate in the torso, and by turning the ball joint and rotating the leg joints to various positions, I think I can get just about any pose I might be interested in.

I ordered these for my students to use in the art room. I told them to take care of them and use them carefully. 2 out of the 6 that I ordered have already lost an arms (loose screws) and I am unable to put them back on. Now students have to draw them with only one arm!

This manikin is perfect for any artist, young or old, new or advanced. If you cannot find a human model, then you have come to the right place. You can change the pose of this manikin to match your needs, and this is unisex, so you are not limited in anyway, except for your imagination.

I love it. Around 12in and is spring loaded. Tip...don't try to bend the the arms all the way around, because if you do you will hear a terrible sound. I recommend it for anyone who likes to draw, it has helped me a lot.
