I ordered one of these and when I received it, it didn't turn on so I returned it and ordered another one. It didn't work either!

I have added a 2 minute cycle in this cleaner with a 50% solution of Boston Simplus to my regular cleaning regimen. The lenses feel cleaner when I put them on and I get a few hours more use out them daily. I suspect that this cleaner is removing additional protein deposits that the regular rubbing process misses. I don't use this as a replacement for my usual regimen, but as an addition it seems to help.
Pricey and cheaply made.

I am very disappointed in the quality of this machine considering the price. Very poor quality.
Simply doesn't work and lasted less than 30 days before it broke in several regards.

I've used an ultrasonic lens cleaner for years and was happy to see a new model on Amazon thinking it might last longer than the one I've always used which seem to last only about a year.
Unfortunately, not only did this leave protein behind on my lenses, it lasted less than a month before the internal basket fell apart. In the first week I also found that I had to push the start button many times for it to work. It actually was far worse than any ultrasonic cleaner I'd tried in the past and I just returned it after my eye doctor gave it the thumbs down having looked at my dirty contacts during my visit.
