I would definately recommend this to any DIY gearhead

I bought this to do an A/T fluid change on my 05 GTO. Simply put it was easier than putting gas in the car. The extractor comes with 2 attachments, one for oil and A/T fluid and another for any other fluid. Prior to extracting the old fluid I drove the car around the block for 5 minutes to warm up the fluid and then began extracting the old trans fluid. It only took about 5 or 6 pumps to extract the fluid and took about 10 minutes to extract 4 quarts. I did a drain and refill 3 times b/c the total capacity of the trans is about 12 quarts, all of this took about an hour in 108 degree heat. Compared to dropping the pan this method is a million times faster and cleaner, especially since my trans does not have a drain plug. since I already had everything out I also drained the power steering fluid. I just wish I had purchased this a long time ago. Extractor is built well and the pump handle is metal not plastic. There is also a place on the extractor to store the extractor hoses so they stay clean and don't get lost. I would definately recommend this to any DIY gearhead.
Very high quality and works well

Before buying this extractor, I read a lot of reviews and watched videos on other similar products, and this one was by far had the best quality and price. The unit I received was made in Taiwan and the plastic is exceptional. The lid is strong and side plastic is very sturdy. Everything about this says high quality. I used it to change a lot of fluids quickly and with less mess. Done so far: 2007 Honda Accord V6: I could get about 4.3 quarts of oil out which is pretty close to the stated 4.4 you're supposed to get out from the drain plug. I also used for the automatic transmission but due to Honda's design of the dipstick, I could only get 1 quart out. I have also used it on two Toyotas to suction out the power steering fluid from the reservoir in 3 cycles of suction, pour new fluid in, and turn the car on and steering lock-to-lock to mix the fluid.
The vacuum pump is also very high quality, unlike some of the other cheaper extractors that basically attach a bike pump to the side.

Works great

This allows me to do a top side oil change in about 15 minutes. My oil filter cartridge is right on top of engine on my Passat. Pop a new one in while I'm sucking the oil out from the dipstick with this thing. It takes as long to add 5 qt of oil as it does to suck it out with this thing. I don't have to lift or get under the car. I drain the used oil back into the empty oil bottles I just used and return it for recycling.
I'm at the age I don't like to crawl under cars and do my own maintenance anymore. But it's so easy with this thing and the help of where my filter cartridge is, I'd be a fool to pay someone $30 or more for labor to do it for me.

Excellent Fluid Extractor

This really is a quality product. Have another manufacturer's extractor and the hose arrangement makes for a difficult operation due to:
1) hose is not long enough so must sit extractor on a stool to extend reach
2) connection between main hose to extractor and smaller hose to dip stick is by friction so inevitably will disconnect
The OEMTOOLS extractor has a five foot hose that easily reaches the top of the engine with the unit on the ground.
The connection to the dip stick tube is a secure connection so no unexpected disconnects
I wish I had bought this product first.

Worked great for waverunner oil extraction!

Worked great to extract the oil from my Yamaha FX140 waverunner (about 2.5 quarts if I'm remembering correctly) . When extracting oil from a waverunner make sure you get to the lower oil reservoir. One thing I didn't realize before I bought this is that it's not like a bike pump in that you don't have to constantly pump. You can pump until there is a good amount of pressure and let it work it's magic.
