The media could not be loaded. Love me some pepper! This mill is so easy to use and has a wide opening for easy filling! It's ceramic with a lifetime warranty and an adjustable grind level. I love the clear bottom, it allows me to see just how much is there. It can be used with an grind-able spice too!

I purchased this more than two years ago. I use a lot of pepper in my cooking, and I appreciate everything this pepper mill does. There are plenty of reviews that pick at tiny flaws in the design, or durability, but this is easily the best pepper mill I have ever used. The crank/winder/handle is vastly superior to twisting the top of a traditional mill, and the cup that catches (and stores) the grind is genius. In two years, I have probably had to refill this mill eight times, so that's a lot of grinding. I recently noticed that the upper edges of the cup that detent into the bottom of the mill body have cracked and broken. DING. I value this tool enough that I am just going to replace it right now. I wish I could just buy the cup, but this mill is that good - I don't mind buying a new one. Think about something you value, like a favorite pen, or sunglasses. If they broke after a couple year's hard use, you wouldn't write a crappy review, you'd just replace it. Also, if you can get it - Greenwell Farms (Hawaii) has the BEST black pepper I have ever tasted. I don't think they do mail order any longer, alas.

I have not had this new pepper grinder long enough to know how well it will hold up over time, but I like that it has a container on the bottom to catch the ground pepper and prevent ground pepper from getting all over the cabinet shelf. The container also allows the grinding of pepper for measuring for a recipe that most grinders do not have or the container can be removed to grind pepper directly onto a plate or dish of food. The plastic strips broke that hold the grinder portion of my previous pepper grinder, so I thought it would be worthwhile to pay a little more to get one with a lifetime warranty. I am hoping that it lives up to its warranty!

Used a lot of pepper mills through the years and this is by far the best I've ever used. Easily filled and adjusted. Key is easily turned and amount of pepper ground per turn is consistent. Liked it so much I bought a white one for salt.
Has a solid warranty, the out side ring cracked, I emailed peppermate and received a replacement in just a few days.
Really good people with a great mill.
