Good Clamp but Very Small Openings

This is a good clamp, but it is too small for my GPS. I had these before, and every one of them broke off at the top of the clamp from the tension created because the jaw is just a little too small. I am returning them because I don't want to have to break two more at what this cost. It's reallyl a great idea, but it needs to open a little wider and the clamp itself needs to be a little larger to accommodate the depth of my Garmin.

I love this for my S6. This is the third vent mount I've tried and by far the best. There is no need for a magnet, so no interference with wireless charging. It seems sturdy enough to last and stays firmly on the vent.
Usefull For Driving, Not for Home Reading Alone

There were two things I wanted from this product. First, I needed a way to have travel directions in front of me without impairing my driving. This product does that by securing my phone to one of my heat/ac vent blades. I have read in these reviews that the product loses its gripping ability in three months. Because I have only had the product for a week, I cannot comment on that criticism yet. Second, as advertised on TV, I was looking forward to having a book-like kickstand for my phone so I could have hands free reading in my home. The product's design, in my opinion, makes that impossible for any phone, especially for my larger smartphone. The flaw is that the gripping mechanism only expands from one side. Therefore, any device will always be off balance if not secured to something stationary.

Works great, does a good job at keeping the phone hands free, pretty much close to eye level (depending on where your vents are).
Can hold pretty much any phone (I tried it with iPhone and Samsung) sung a secure. Easy to place the phone there and remove.
I leave the device inserted in the vents, and put the phone there when I get in the car.
Suggesetion: when using the AC or heater, it's better to direct the hot or cold air at other vents, towards the feet or the windshield, so the phone doesn't get too hot or too cold.
Also, I ordered from Emson and got it just right and well packaged. However, when I previously ordered from another vendor (they sold a set of two) they showed the newer version as seen here, but shipped the older one which is inferior and doesn't do a good job, so watch who you order from. Again, I do recommend Emson, you get exactly what you order.

I truly expected very little with this product and I am pleased to say that I was very surprised by it's sturdy construction, well developed clamp grip in the back, which allows the user a vertical and horizontal positioning (actually, it would angle the phone too). Gripping my Droid Maxx it seemed quite flimsy, as if it would fall out rather easily, I used it during a 600 mile trip were I was going over a variety of terrain and it was outstanding. I love it, a great device to manage your phone while driving.
The product arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, color, and it matched my expectations.
