Amazing set. I love this with a passion. Apart from being a great shaving kit, this decorates my bathroom very well. My father was impressed by it and said he wants a wet shaving set like this. It feels very sturdy and heavy, and gives off an expensive and classy feel. For the price, this can't be beat. If you're looking for a starter wet shave kit, this is the way to go.
One thing though, the boar brush gives off this very odd and unpleasant smell when shaving. This is my first wet shave kit so I'm not sure if every boar brush gives off this smell. But that's not keeping me from loving it.

I orderd this for my husbands birthday, he was so very excited when he opened his gift. The set is lovely and has a good quality feel, don't be deceived. After the first use while shaking out the badger brush the brush promptly separated from the handle and flew across the room. Returning never to purchase from this company again.**********I just received a pleasant call from Jason the owner of the company this product was ordered from, he explained that while he couldn't say this never happened, it does happen occasionally when trying to adhere a natural product like the badger hair to a chrome handle, which honestly makes perfect sense. He happily stands behind his company's product and is replacing the brush with less than zero hassle (which is something considering he's just south of Boston and kinda covered in snow at the moment.) So this being said I am pleased to edit my review in light of his amazing customer service. My husband is ecstatic that he gets to keep the set and I'm happy he's happy. Thank you Jason.

I received this shaving kit as a Christmas gift. Upon opening it, everything was individually wrapped and packed carefully. All items had a very sharp chrome look to them. The razor, and brush fit perfectly into the stand. The brush is of high quality and I have found that letting it soak in hot water for several minutes before working up a soap lather makes it super soft. The soap is thick and rich, with a masculine scent. I would highly advise this as a great gift any guy would appreciate. I also recommend the Gillette 7 o'clock razors to go with this sit. They have proven to be consistent, sharp and durable. One of the better, and cost effective sets out there. Would buy again!

The Set looks Very Fancy and is well worth the price, I was hesitating on buying it due to the price (seemed cheap) but I am glad I did. I love it! Will definitely buy it again.
The Soap smells great and is not very over powering. (I have to work on my lathethring skills)
The Razor feels good, good weight and a good grip texture. The handle is a little short compared to others but is comfortable.
I did a good wash on the brush before putting it to use and it didnt seem to loose alot of its hairs, big plus!
Over all, Its A great shaving Set for the price! I recomend it 100%

All of the pieces came as expected, but the packaging was a little haphazard. Everything is just kind of thrown in the box with packing peanuts around it. It felt like there could have been more care taken into account since I paid $50 for it. That being said, it is a very good kit for beginners, and I loved that it came with extra blades. I'm sure my boyfriend will love it :)
