Anyhow this one seemed like the best one. Lights do adjust, but are not the brightest. Think they are the old style LED's.
Anyhow don't think any light on the mirror area would do much good and not shine back into eyes .
Really need a few LED Cree type in the stick! That would be bright idea. Hahaha

This is a great inspection mirror. It has adjustable led lights which are important so as not to shine in your eyes while using it. It feels well made and I am very pleased with it.
Highly recommended, with or without LEDs.

I use this mirror mainly to inspect the exterior wall where the exterior wall covering (like stucco or stone slats) meets the ground. The long extension was very useful, the mirror joint rotation was easy and secure, and the mirror is large enough to be very useful in a variety of situations. It is an extremely useful tool. About the LED lights: Since the LEDs lights can only rotate in one way, they are useful for some inspection angles. When you use the mirror lengthwise, rotating the LED away from the mirror will illuminate the area in front of the mirror; I found this is the only inspection angle for the LEDs to be useful. I found the LEDs useful in maybe 20-30% of the situations; a flashlight is still needed to cover other situations. If I were to buy a second inspection mirror, I would buy the Ullman again but without the LEDs.

The overall construction and flexibility of the mirror was great. I needed the mirror with the LED lights to upgrade my HID bulbs on my car. It is hard to tell if the clips to secure the HID bulbs are in place by touch compared to seeing them. I was able to get mirror into tight spaces and see a very good reflection with large square mirror. The LED lights help; but, they fail within a few minutes of use. I had spare batteries; but, the lights did not come back on. I was still able to complete my task using a small LED flashlight. It was just a little harder since I need both hands that took up more room.
