About 8 years ago I bought a Delta 8" grinder. This is not near as good as that. The wheels don't run true, but aren't so bad it is unusable. It starts slow. The variable speed is unimpressive. The tool rests are complete junk. It has okay power. I like the light. I guess it is okay in its price range, but it is a really mediocre tool.

Missed the return window trying to figure out how to balance the wheels. The whole time kept thinking it was either how the wheel was mounted or the machine itself. Found corrosion on both shafts where the wheels were rusted on. Had to pry them off. Should've returned then but was so excited to have one of these so kept chipping away at Where the trouble could be. One shaft is definitely off balance not the wheels. Very sad and hoping someone has an answer.
