I brought some salt lamps on clearance have the European cord needed replacement. I have order the butterfly clip but the base sat on the cord and is not even I have to put padding to raise the bottom up. So this time order already come with the base.

This is the second cord I've purchased from this company. First one just stopped working for no reason, wasn't the bulb, wiring was faulty. The replacement worked great for a week then just a few days ago, we kept smelling burning plastic, when we realized the cord (where the dial is) was spontaneously melting from the inside out. To replace it again with this company would be stupid on my part. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
So happy these are sold here..

When I ordered my salt lamps, (the larger ones) both of the lightbulbs and units that the lightbulbs went in were damaged. I think because the salt lamp was so heavy that during shipment when tossed around they broke. Obviously I was disappointed. This was the first salt lamp purchase I have made. Of course, the next thing I did instead of waiting to return them and wait for new lamps, I came on here and was so happy to see that these units were available for purchase. I just clicked a few buttons and bam, my new units arrived in two days.
They were easy to replace and now everything is all fine and dandy. You just squeeze the metal "clips" on each side and stick back into the lamp.

This is the second one of these I've replaced in about 3 months. The first one started smoking and shorted out. Thankfully it did so before it caught on fire and we were home at the time. If we hadn't been, I shudder to think my pets could have perished in a house fire. I ordered a new one and that one started shorting out within 2 weeks. I unplugged it and threw it back in the box. Should have returned it; the time to return is past now so I have no recourse except this review. Irritating and frustrating that I use my expensive Himalayan salt lamp for want of a light source that's dependable and not a fire hazard!

I see this has been reported as dangerous already...just had the same thing happened...received it yesterday, it blew up last night...I've not been able to use my lamp for over a yr as the last cord stopped working....what a big pain in the a$$
