Great adhesive very sticky"¦. But Hard to clean

These are not the easiest to put up without bubbles and the bubbles drive me nuts. This is super functional, except you have to careful what type of dry erase markers you use or it will stain (I'm looking at you light blue expo marker)
You definitely need some sort of spray to clean it because it dries up super fast and so it won't just wipe away like a typical whiteboard

Overall it's a decent white board product. It did take two of us to apply a fairly large section of the white board, very reminiscent of applying contact paper years ago. Slowly but surely we got it applied without any measurable air bubbles. So far so good.

The issue is the quality of the dry erase feature. The darker colors (blue especially) just don't want to completely erase. I tried the cloth that came with the kit and it wasn't exactly a smashing success. So I tried a soft cloth rag and even a squirt or two of Mr. Clean. Again, not back to white as a 'real' white board. Finally after walking away from it for a bit, I went back and tried again with a dry cloth and a little more came off and eventually MOST of the color diminished enough that I was a little more satisfied.

So if you're looking for a perfect white board, you'll be a bit frustrated but still, all in all, it is what it is....a fairly inexpensive way to create a writing space. If I find an awesome solution to removing ALL the color I will edit this review and let you know.

UPDATE: I found a way to clean about 99% of the dark residue left behind.....Mr Clean Magic Eraser (I should have known, right?!!) Slightly dampened, a few rubs and it was as clean as any other white board would get. WIN-WIN! A viable, inexpensive, very flexible white 'board' you can put just about anywhere and an excellent way to keep it looking about as good as new!

I bought this to cover up the old chalk boards still hanging on two of my classroom walls. They work great and give my students more surface area to collaborate with their classmates. However, if the work is not erased after class and it gets left on over the weekend, then the writing does not erase easily and would require dry erase spray to completely remove the writing.
I am buying more to cover the desks. That way, the students can have the option of collaborating while standing at the walls or sitting at their desks.

Works well as a chalkboard surface though we did have a rough time getting it on the wall. We eventually managed but are still finding some bubbles we can't seem to get out. Overall, we're pleased with it and it works for our son's room.
