This is really good stuff. Great ingredients that doesn't leave a residue and is soothing. One of the best aspects is no scent and this is important if you're also using the best cologne in the world which is made by the same company Musk and Hustle. I am addicted to their cologne line and this is made as a nice pairing so that your cologne is naturally present without conflicting scents. There does need to be improvement on packaging if the same consistency is used because it will spill easily. Maybe a pump bottle of some sort? Overall great ingredients and great product. Highly recommend.

I'm an in-the-shower straight razor shaver. I typically don't use aftershave lotion. My skin is mildly sensitive--it reddens slightly but doesn't burn after a shave. In using this product, it applies very easily and cools the skin (due to the menthol in it). It has zero scent--exactly as described by the company. I really like it. It's not overbearing and I like that is uses only natural ingredients. I add another star because this company is top notch. The guys that run it have a passion for their products and it shows in customer care and their products. Check out their Nitro Pens when you have a chance.

Full disclosure, I have not used this product as an aftershave yet. I HAVE, however, used it as a lotion for my face to keep from being too dry and to help with my skin. Over the course of my time using it, I have been very happy with how quickly it seems to absorb into the skin, and I've been happy with the way my skin feels afterwards. I am also really happy that this lotion, unlike a lot of others that I've tried, has not made me break out at all, and may actually be helping to clear up my skin (however that is speculation--any number of things could have impacted this if we're being totally realistic... I don't live in a completely controlled environment). Additionally, there is no scent added to this product, which makes it ideal for people who don't enjoy or get headaches from strong smells. There IS a little bit of a smell to it because that is a consequence of existing and having actual ingredients, however the smell is EXTREMELY light, natural, and fades as quickly as the lotion absorbs. You are not left smelling it for very long, if you could even smell it in the first place. I would additionally like to say that having tried this company's colognes in the past (and the present I guess, lol) I am very excited for them to start coming out with scented versions of this. the only thing better than feeling good is feeling good AND smelling good. The lotion is somewhat thinner than what I am used to (which does aid absorption, however) and I was surprised about that given the container it came in. As a result, I was a little bit disappointed with the packaging with regard to sealing to avoid lotion spillage. They use a plastic-papery layer between the lid itself and the product to keep the product from getting everywhere, however since this isn't attached to the lid, it can create a little bit of a mess when trying to remove it. I have to be extra careful when I use it because I don't want to waste the product. In this case, I think it would have been significantly more helpful for the company to have a silicone sealer/gasket type situation attached to the lid itself to effectively seal it with significantly less mess/fuss. That being said, that is my only problem with the product and not worth lowering it to 4 stars. I would give it 4.5 if that was an option.

First I would like to say I have used Musk & Hustle's Nitro Pens and Stubbies. I already knew they were capable of a high quality product. Because of this I was very excited to try their aftershave lotion. I've started caring about the ingredients that goes into the products I use. Be it soap, toothpaste or home cleaning products. I've never read the ingredients in other aftershave lotions however it was nice to see an ingredients list where I was familiar with the individual items.

I shave both my face and head and used the product for both. Prior to this, I had never seen aftershave that came in a tin. As far as the presentation the tin looked great on the counter and was a nice size. Once the lid is removed I found a very fluid lotion that you could see actually shift in the container. I dipped my fingers into the lotion and found it was not fluid enough to drip off and stayed nicely on my fingers. I rubbed both my hands together and applied the lotion to the top of my head, face and neck. The product goes on very smooth, did not feel clumpy and you do not have to chase it around your face and head to make it absorb into the skin. It felt cool on the skin but not tingly. The aftershave absorbed quickly. Their was a very slight aroma but that quickly faded. There was no unpleasant burning or redness where applied and I did not feel like I needed to towel off after using the product. My scalp and face was not oily or shiny after applying the lotion and my skin felt and looked clean without irritation. During the day when I sweated my skin did not feel slimy. (I have used many aftershave lotion that did, so this was a nice surprise.)

This is a product that I was very happy with and will definitely continue to use. I think that if you are looking for an aftershave that goes on smooth and does exactly what an aftershave is designed to do (calm and hydrate the skin) this is definitely a product worth trying. It is not a product that is trying to stand out and take center stage. It goes on without a smell of its own allowing your colognes or soaps to make their own statement. I am very pleased with this product.

Lighter than I expected, with a lovely silky feel. I love the pared down ingredients list, nothing but the important stuff. Though it includes menthol, it is only just enough to add the mildest cooling sensation, which I appreciate. It is almost completely scentless, with a very faint herby scent if you sniff very intently. The tin it comes in is sturdy and attractive, but the light lotion does slip around easily, which means it's almost impossible to keep it out of the wide lid's thread, which is annoying. Despite that, once firmly closed it has yet to leak any so I'm overall satisfied with the packaging.
