Perhaps it's because I had new solder, but I had a great deal of difficulty soldering to these pads. I think the pads didn't heat up readily, making it difficult to get the solder to flow in to. In the end, I used way more solder than I would use normally, and my joints are all blobby.
It does cut well and I like the arrangement of the rails.
