Lasted about about four months then the compass ring popped off. Now it's loose and spins free. On top of that, I've never gone below 20 feet underwater and the other day, after dipping my hand in my swimming pool, all of a sudden it has water underneath the screen face. Now none of the buttons work and it won't illuminate anymore. This watch is garbage. Too bad it's past the date that I can return it to Amazon. Now I have to waste my own time tracking down the maker to go through their warranty for either replacement or repair which is almost not worth the time and effort, then having to ship it back. This watch is not waterproof as it is advertised.

Not even two years old and this watch is dead. Took it too the beach and somehow water must have gotten inside, I wasn't really even deep in water and this should be a waterproof watch, but nope, since then the watch just will not work. Tried new batteries, letting it air out, but it's done. Really disappointed, this is second Suunto watch, first watch still works but the band busted on it, and I liked the look of this one better. Will probably switch to Garmin.

This is a pretty good wrist watch.

Units: Imperial US or Metric

Atmospheric pressure baramoter: Adjust based on location and altitude which in some cases is very great. Just remember that when indoors, the pressure changes due to doors opening and vent/aie conditioning systems affect the readings. Also simultaneously displays a historic chart of pressure readings.

Tenperature: Fahrenheit and Celcius. Unsure of accuracy and precision. It may be affected by the wearer's body temperature.

Compass: Accuracy is within 5° or less if carefully calibrated. Compare to a lensatic compass. Military basic issue.

Storm Warning Indicator: AKA alarm when air pressure drops dramatically.

Overall, a good watch for its price. Sturdy, water resistant, and the basics of a regular wrist watch.

I own a rather large collection of watches and I am always looking for new ones to add, Until I bought the Core, I had a Vector which I have had for 9 years and it's still working !
The core is a great watch, its accurate and the auto feature works great for my application, I replaced the band first day because I have a large wrist. The display is readable in low light and the watch is very light and comfortable to wear, Even though I have a rotation of my watches this one ha turned into my go to watch. changing batteries is a cinch , Love this product. Seller delivered a new product on time.

I really gave this watch a fair try. I took it with me, brand new when I started, on a trip through the Americas and it made it 2 months and 15 days approx. before one of the buttons broke after I swam at the beach three times. This should not happen with a 200 dollar watch that one treats well, esp. when it claims to be okay with water. Apparently its not. I don't generally leave 1 star reviews, but seriously, what a piece of crap. My advice, don't buy it.
