Trex decking looks awesome. So much nicer then regular wooden decks. We have had to replace 2 LED Caps in the last 2 months. 1st one was cracked because wind pulled our deck umbrella free and cracked the cap (see picture). Then we got a new BBQ that was a lot bigger then our old one and my wife moved it closer to the railing and the heat melted a cap and part of the post. So that sucked. We have only one complaint with Trex and that is the trim pieces are too soft and bend over time (see picture). Also once the deck settled you can see the gap in the stairs piece. (See picture)
