Not too rough on the feet for my taste. Easy to use and refill. The trick is to fill with hot water and circulate, allowing epson salts from Pacific Northwest dissolve. Then when tempuratue drops to 42, soak for 20 min.
Drain in tub after using the quick drain. The wheels are a bit undersized and the top is not made to be snapped in tight, so I had to tape it to the unit to prevent spillage whilst rolling it to the den to watch TV.
Keep an eye on the drain hose cap.

It did not get very hot at all, also bubbles dont produce enough to even feel them , really week and rollers cant handle much pressure. Very disappointing.

Great product, I really like how much it relieves my sore feet and keep my body warm after doing the spa.
It makes me sweat a little after using it for 15 mins, making me feel like I had gone for a 30 mins walk.
Doing the foot spa also increases my sleep quality

The temperature doesn't really stay the way you set it, so I have to constantly change the temp setting.
The tube was too short to reach my bath tub and it's way too heavy for me to lift the machine to drain it. I always have to scoop out the water first and lift the whole thing when it was lighter, which was very inconvenient.
The drain tube doesn't really drain all the water, there will be some remaining around the roller. So I still have to put the machine upside down at the end.

I originally purchased this foot spa in July 2015 (still works fine "“ no problems whatsoever!) for use by an elderly family member who had bilateral lower leg circulation problems with associated symptoms of lymphedema and recurrent cellulitis. It has worked fine in this regard by providing some much needed symptomatic relief of these problems on a once to twice-weekly basis.

In the meantime this spa also has become a much used item by all family members. After all, who can't benefit from a truly relaxing, warm to hot, thorough soaking of the feet and lower legs every now and then? It's a natural remedy that has proven itself over the ages.

With the aforementioned individual also suffering from tender feet, the only unwelcome spa feature was the rolling massager. This was simply not activated. Some additional cushioning in the form of soft shoe insoles - upon which the feet could rest at the bottom of the tank instead of directly on the hard plastic "“ made everything quite comfortable overall.

Although you can fill this calf-height spa with cold water and then let the device itself heat the contents to the desired temperature of 20-48 degrees centigrade, it's certainly much more expeditious to appropriately adjust the temperature from the get-go and then simply leave the task of maintaining the desired temperature to the spa's heating element. This way you can immediately start soaking your feet without any downtime while the water is heating. Personally, I find a temperature of about 42-43 degrees centigrade for 20-30 minutes to be the sweet spot for a properly therapeutic foot/calf bath which noticeably dilates the blood vessels and helps improve lower leg circulation.

I usually fill the foot spa in the master bathroom, unlock its wheels and then simply pull it into place wherever it's needed by means of the conveniently integrated handle - just for this purpose. While all the specific settings can be directly accessed via controls on the spa itself, I find that performing all necessary adjustments during a good soaking is more easily accomplished by using the small, handy remote control provided. Feedback regarding the current temperature and the preset time remaining can be viewed on the spa's integrated LED display.

For an even more enjoyable and effective lower leg bath, I can recommend adding something such as "Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak With Epsom Salt, Helps Treat Nail Fungus, Athletes Foot & Stubborn Foot Odor 16 oz" or comparable product to the water which you will be using. While "Johnson's Foot Soap Quick Dissolving Powder, 8 Packets (Pack of 4)" is an effective and soothing foot care remedy, it and products like it will cause a great deal of foam/bubbles to form when using the indispensable bubbling and wave features of this spa and are not recommended for this reason. Epsom salt-based products will not cause this problem. Both of these items are available on Amazon.

When a foot therapy session with this spa has finished, it's a simple task to once again unlock the rolling wheels at the bottom of the spa, extend the transport handle and gently roll the still full spa into the master bathroom shower where draining the water is easily accomplished by removing the plug (it rotates) from the spa's metal hose and letting it empty completely via gravity into the shower drain. Everything is completely waterproof so there are no worries about the bottom of the plastic spa getting wet during this procedure.

After a quick rinse for final cleaning and reinserting the plug into the drain hose, this top-quality, 5-star foot/lower leg spa is usually stored in the bathtub since baths are taken very infrequently around my house. Choose your own favorite storage location for quick access whenever needed.

used it once and worked fine 2nd time however it stopped heating the water . So I basically bought an expensive bucket. I guess the heating element is no good. This is the first time I have rated any thing I bought on Amazon , very disapointed in this unit
