I purchased this dress and veil set a little over a year ago, and continue to be happy with it. I display Barbie dolls in my china cabinet, and have re-dressed some of my dolls in this. On the pre-1997 Barbie body, the velcro closure of this dress doesn't quite close in the back due to the larger bust, but still looks fine from the front (see back view of brunette Barbie, attached). I've most recently used the dress on the 2015 Mattel Cinderella bride (atcress Lily James) doll. Her original cream-colored bridal dress didn't "pop" in my yellow-painted cabinet, but now that I've re-dressed her in this E-ting dress (using a shorter veil from a different E-ting set, pinned over the doll's original cream-colored veil), I think she looks great. I added a sprig of artificial flowers purchased at a craft store. This dress is extra-long, which I think is fine when displaying the doll, and I sometimes tuck it under (see photos). The quality of this dress is very high for the price - drapes well and poufs out on its own with no tulle or tissue underneath. The lace ruffles and bodice look nice up close as well as from a distance. Although I use it for display, it would definitely hold up to handling by children, and would be easy for them to dress their dolls in. The long veil included with this dress (see photo of brunette Barbie, attached) is also easy to use (has a sparkly headpiece with elastic, though I have chosen to attach it with pins) and looks nice - Please note that it has no edging, it's just tulle with a cut edge. Also please note that, as seen in these photos, I have mixed two different E-ting sets - the shorter dress comes with the shorter veil, and the longer dress with the longer veil (which is the product being reviewed here).

The dress and veil were lovely. But the dress what about 2 inches too long for Barbie. Everyone commented on how pretty the dress was. The veil was substantial. The dress was well worth the money

Very pretty! The veil is hard to keep on, and the dress is super long, it is hard to stand your Babie up in. But it was a very reasonable price, so you really can't complain which is why I am saying for your buck, it is worth it! My little girl thought it was gorgeous, which is all that matters <3

Very nice dress and compared to others I've bought on this site it is very well sewn... which is a nice break! My granddaughter loves this dress. Note that it is a bit long, but still she really loves it. Thank you for a QUALITY product - I will definitely buy this brand again!!!
