Shuts the door to the garage and saves money on AC. Helps with young grandchildren. My son in Denver put us on to this and we have bought some for family and ourselves.

These work great. Well made and are made of solid metal. I can tell they won't fall apart. I replaced the spring hinges on my door between my garage and house. The springs in the old spring hinges were worn out and wasn't closing the door anymore. It took 5 minutes to remove old hinges and to install these spring hinges. A couple of more minutes to tighten up to my preference and I was done. Just make sure the hinges that you guy have the same corner as your existing hinges and it will be smooth sailing.

Fit perfectly, well made, and the instructions to set the spring loaded mechanism were pretty clear. After our garage door stopped closing by itself, I bought these (needed 3, had to buy 4 because they come in 2 packs?!) to replace the old ones that probably had broken springs inside. I swapped them out one at a time, done in about 30 mins. Be VERY careful to buy hinges where the hole pattern matches exactly the hole pattern for your existing hinges.

Great product. Fits existing mortise for an easy upgrade. Works well and looks great. Easily updates the garage entrance to meet current code.

These work well for us. We had a door with one spring hinge, which was too weak to completely close the door. And it was not adjustable. I replaced the other two std hinges with these new spring hinges. Easy to install. Easy to adjust. I had them set a little too strong at first - it was closing too hard. So I reduced the tension on one hinge and and now it is just right.
