Good Product for the money.

I love this soft box. However, the first time I put it on the front baffle ripped at the seam. Bad construction but great design. It straps very securely. It has TWO baffles like a proper soft box so the spread of light is very even. The diffusion fabric is a little too opaque compared to my nicer soft boxes. Despite it ripping immediately I bought a second one. Fool me twice shame on me??

Easy to hand hold and position the soft light wherever I need it while camera is on a tripod and my other hand is on the remote shutter. Also, light weight and efficient when placed on a light stand and with its small size it is easily kept out of the photo frame and can be easily hid behind the subject for soft rim light. I have already used it for multi purposes for portraits and stills as a single light source and in combination with 2,3,4,and 5 light combinations.

I have used this softbox twice now, once for family portraits, and once for a wedding. It performs very well from close distances. The further you get away from your subject though, the less it works, but this is to be expected of such a small softbox. The quality of lighting on your subject with a softbox is so much nicer than a bare flash, or a flash with the plastiic diffuser! It is fairly quick and easy to use, and I have had no issues to date with quality of construction. For the price, it is a great value!
