This program is incredibly frustrating to use for creative writing. I got it when I was recovering from severe tendonitis in my left elbow. I spent most of my time cussing at it. It's hard to be creative when you're always having to correct it. I ended up typing one-handed rather than having to deal with it.

I purchased this hoping to use bluetooth and not be tethered to the system. The bluetooth device comes with a dongle that needs to be inserted in a USB port. The headset and dongle are paired, and the dongle shows up on my list of bluetooth devices. I am able to change my default microphone and playback to this device on my laptop and it responds to my voice, but I cannot get it to work with the Dragon software.
On another note, the Nuance site is down and I am not able to Activate my application. The problem is it will let me launch it 5 times, but after that it will not work. I called Customer Support hoping they could give me an Activation code for people not connected to the internet, but to obtain that, they need to access the same database that I need to go to to obtain the code myself. (It turns out Nuance got hit with a Ransomware attack, that appears to have shut them down for at least a week or more.)
In the meantime, using my USB headphones, the application works very well. I know this will be useful when I finally get it work.

I used an older version of Naturally Speaking running on Windows Vista. It worked with all my applications. "Premium" 13, ironically, has limited functionality for the very same applications, now on Windows 10. Before you buy, check the compatibility list (if you can find it at Nuance's nightmare of a website). Customer support is a joke. If you want to throw your money away, just send me a check.
This is not worth the price. Bluetooth doesn't work properly

While I like the Dragon software this was not worth all the extra money to have it come with the bluetooth. It is an older model bluetooth and it works periodically but not consistently. My IT consultant and I were on the phone with tech support for over an hour and they were of no help. The gentleman we spoke with kept telling us the wrong information and then finally admitted that he didn't know what the issue could possibly be. It would have been better to buy the software and then purchase a newer compatible bluetooth.

First shipment battery wouldn't charge. Second unit I could not make work on Windows 10. Sent both back. Have had two previous versions with few problems. Very disappointed as are most buyers. Doctors receive training programs individuals are hung out to dry. I am hoping for something better in the future.
