I work alone a lot and this unit makes all my measuring reliable and accurate. It works indoors and outdoors perfectly, you have to get used to really exact measurements, but you can change the accuracy level you need. it does indirect measurements like measuring a roof-line from the ground or measuring a tree height, the applications are endless. I even use it for installing cabinets and doors and windows, i love this tool.
I had a problem with my unit after almost one and a half years of hard use and Hilti sent me a prepaid UPS label and i sent it back to them and they sent me a brand new unit within days, great service, and a great tool
