Such a simple fix for a common problem, this is how you keep that butt paste out from under your nails and off of fingers!
I had resorted to q-tips, but really they were too small and not nearly efficient enough when trying to be quick during a diaper change.
This handy silicone spatula spreads and wipes off fast and brilliantly easy. Plus, the suction cup that keeps it upright is one of those really great clever touches.

I was super skeptical that this spatula work spread cream better than my own fingers. I used it for the first time today on my 3 week old daughter and found it to not only spare my fingers from the mess, but spread the cream more evenly and easily, using less cream!
I definitely recommend this as a helpful extra. Your fingers work fine, but this will keep you from getting diaper cream under your fingernails!

I love this thing so much. I bought it on a whim, but it's been so useful! When you can't just walk away to wash your hands, this is a great option for spreading that thick and sticky (and practically waterproof!) diaper cream all over your baby's butt! Totally stupid product, but it's worth its weight in gold. Speaking of weight - it's way smaller than you think. It's only five or so inches long. I was expecting a full-sized spatula but the smaller size is actually better...keeps you from spreading the cream all over the place.

I originally thought this was completely dumb. I purchased one after my daughter ended up with a horrible diaper rash and she screamed when I touched it to put the cream on. My opinion has changed. I love this and wish I had it a long time ago. It applies the cream thick and easy. I also noticed I don't have to use as much cream to get the thick coverage I needed for her rash. I would recommend this to all my mom friends.
