No "digital password". Just a numeric lock
Not worth the money
Marty G.May 24, 2017
Combo lock is very hard to understand. I have been trying to set the combo and it just locks up. I can not move the level, A/B whatever to either position. Can't find any customer service help, all web sites are dangerous it says. Sure would like to have this work, I like the product just wish I could get it to work.

Much Better Than Similarly-Priced Book Safes
R. GallagherNovember 11, 2014
I tried a couple of other book safes but had to return them because of various problems. This one, however, is all that it's cracked up to be. For one thing, it actually looks like a book, and even the pages look real as long as you don't touch them. The combination lock is a three-digit manual lock, which is relatively easy to set and change once you figure out the somewhat confusing instructions. Another plus is that you can't see the lock unless you open the cover, whereas other book safes have locks which are visible on the side where the "pages" are. Keep in mind, however, that this is not an impenetrable safe, nor is is meant to be. It can be broken into by someone determined to do so. However, if the idea is to keep small valuables, prescription drugs, etc. hidden where it will be difficult for someone to get their hands on them, this fits the bill.
like a briefcase

Poorly made with loose fittings. There is nothing 'digital' about this, it just has a three digital combination lock, like a briefcase.
