For a vegan product I was very impressed with the quality and flavor, however it is very high in sodium so if you have salt sensitivity you might want to be aware of that. It does contain oil in the formula, it adds a richness to the flavor.

I love Massel bullion! I use it instead of the homemade stock I used to make. However, the price is prohibitive! $19 for ONE container??? When I ordered, it stated "4.2 ounce (6-pack)". I thought I was going to receive 6 containers, (about $3 per container). That make more sense to me, but apparently not to them. My bad. I'll continue to use Massel, but will probably ago back to making my own for less.
