I love the three candles that come in this set. Different lengths, and the colors are awesome with the timing remote. Can't go wrong with this purchase. It is a nice addition to any room. The "free" round candle that came with it is a piece of junk, but hey, it was free, so I didn't care. It didn't last very long before it just broke. But the three in the set work just great and I put them on every evening for some ambience in our family room. Love the choice of colors. Thanks.

i have just discovered my problem with mine not turning on at all has been the new energiser batteries i installed. when i read the candles should turn on from the bottom regardless of the remote i realized the problem. i had continued to replace the round battery in the remote and thought that had caused the problem, but when i changed the energizer batteries to duracell in the candles low and behold they worked!!!! i don't know why the energizer batteries would not work, but an delighted that the duracell made them work. now the remote is operating as it should as well.
One more thing - had many problems with putting batteries in the round candle - the energizer batteries seemed to be thin and i had to put more in and then the candle only worked intermittently. However, i bought some of Amazon "Go Power" lithium 3v CR 2032 which are thicker and two of these fit perfectly and the round is working steadily. I appreciate your outstanding customer service and the continuing interest in the product after point of sale. i hope my experience add some information for others.

AT first i loved this. i was so excited abt this and it looked really great with my Christmas decorations. I liked that you could change the colours with the remote control and the style of it as well. However after one day the "bonus" round candle stopped working. after 3 days everything else stopped working as well. I emailed the company and they suggested that i change the batteries, which i did in the cylindrical candles (AAA) and they came back to life...for day before they died again. I would return if i could, but the smallest cylindrical candle got misshapen somehow, and i had it in the middle of a wreath type thing and some of the red from my fake berries on the wreath rubbed off on it. so now its not working, misshapen and discolored...
The company seems good tho: they emailed me promptly and seem to have good service. I alos got tealights from them and theyve worked well and i like that product.

I bought these candles about two weeks before Christmas. I received them extremely quickly, which was great because I wanted to use them for the holidays. I loved the fact that they could each be set to a different color. I was able to alternate them red and green for Christmas. Even without them on, they look really pretty and very realistic. I was able to put them on top of my kitchen cabinets thanks to the very convenient remote control. This was the only set I could find that had the extra fourth candle and a remote control with so many color options. The remote also gives the option to put the candles on a four or eight hour timer and to change the mode (the way or frequency in which the candle flickers.)
Unfortunately I have to give this set three out of five stars because of the battery life. The little candle takes 2 of the smaller round kind of battery. I can't remember what the number is but common ones you can get from the grocery store. The batteries that came in it were used up extremely quickly. I bought knew ones for it last Wednesday and today, Tuesday, I noticed that the batteries were dead again. It took less than a week for those batteries to be used up and at $2.50 a package, I definitely will not be able to replace them that often. The three larger candles used up the batteries they came with and I also changed those last week but they are still going. I'm not quite sure how often I will have to change those yet.
All in all, it's a great faux candle set. I'm just somewhat disappointed that the battery life was not what I expected it to be.

These candles are so much fun. The color can be changed using the included remote control. They can be a steady color or can be set to morph through the colors independent of one another. It makes an interesting display. I like the timer feature, they can be set to either four or eight hours.
In an earlier review I said the small round candle has stopped working. I received a quick email from th seller who had already given a partial refund. Excellent customer service.
