I have very full, bra-strap length locs. The regular bonnets didn't fit at all, so I was pretty happy when I came across this one. It is really big, so if you're trying to go to bed cute this probably isn't for you. I, however, love it! It fits all my hair inside and keeps it all out of my face during sleep. The elastic is tight, especially during the first few wears, but try to stretch it out manually before wearing it, if you're sensitive to the tightness. This is a great bonnet for long locs, braids, or big natural hair. It also has a smooth texture to help protect hair. It can get hot during the summer nights though, especially if you have thick hair.

The media could not be loaded. I like the fabric and it is extremely stretchy and stays on but the elastic band rubs the back of my ears and hurts. I just put it over my ears with no problem though.

The fit IS tight. I accidentally ripped it trying to pre-stretch it for looser fit, but the quality is excellent and it gives a more fashionable night look than the flimsy, wimpy, stingy-with-material cheaper versions on the market. It looks like an artist's hat or a painter's hat. Very cute. Fortunately, I purchased several so I have spares and will be mindful when pre-stretching the rest of them for a more comfortable fit. Oddly enough, I purchased this cap in two colors, black and blue. The blue version did not require pre-stretching, but was comfortable right out of the package. In spite of the tight fit for the black colored cap, I'm still giving a 5 star rating because the quality really exceeded my expectations and I believe the tight fit can be remedied with pre-stretching, which is totally worth it for the quality of the product. Now I can protect my big fluffy twist outs with minimal disturbance to the curls. Love it!
