Cheap feeling and uncomfortable
Joshua A Young✓ Verified Purchase•February 1, 2018
I have a pair of martial arts pants that I've been wearing for years that are so comfortable. Was hoping to find the same thing after seeing the good reviews here. Alas, these things are like cardboard. And they have a cheap feeling to them. Not sure where they got 7.5 oz from.
Comfortable, durable, a little long; but a great pair of martial arts pants

I've worn various martial arts pants over the years and these are by far the softest. However, they are on the long side. I'm not sure if they shrink but I am exactly a size 6 (6'0" and 195lbs) and there's about 2-3 inches on the ground. The waist is spot on but be prepared to hem or roll your cuffs.
Good Purchase!

My son outgrew the bottoms that came with his Gi, but a whole new Gi is super expensive. Since his Gi top still fit fine, I purchased these so he would be more comfortable and switched the pants out ...they were perfect, problem solved!
Excellent for sizing up

Nice pair of pants for my son to grow into, just like the ones that came with the full uniform when he started. They were so stiff they practically crunched when I took them out of the bag. Soak them in a half gallon of salt water overnight, it breaks down the sizing treatment of the fabric. After the soak toss them in the washer with some fabric softener and they're good to go. ;)
We had to hem the pants up for my 5yr ...

We had to hem the pants up for my 5yr old but that is ok. I can just let them out as he grows. The waist elastic is not as tight as the first pair I got him which I think are to small for him.
