Sombrero Haricut

This thing is so dumb. My mom uses it on me (She went to beauty school, this isn't a dreaded 'Mom haircut.') Her friends all think it's hilarious. It's like a dunce hat. but in the shape a sombrero that covers your whole torso.
Not as exactly as the picture shown. Don't buy it.

the wire did not make a circle like the picture shown. Mine does not block my hire after I cut my hair. Also, the product has lots of Barcode stickers on it. Wonder if it was being return for many times.

Got it well before the scheduled delivery dates, haven't used it yet, but I like the fact that you can put your arms through it to do your own hair. I got a different one years ago, it only fit around the shoulders and would only work if you were cutting someone else's hair. It comes in its own carry bag, which is convenient. Only possible issue is that because it folds up and has a wire base, it might seem a bit fiddly at first to get it to sit properly, but I think once it's on it won't be too big an issue. I'd definitely buy another one if I had to.

I've used this twice so far while cutting my own hair. The first time, I wasn't careful enough and had to do a typical vacuum cleanup anyway. But the second time I got used to it and it eliminated the need to sweep or vacuum the floor. It is a ridiculous niche contraption, but fairly useful.
I stand next to the bathroom counter while cutting, and some trimmings do get on the bathroom counter. They are easily scooped up or washed down the drain. Everything else is caught in the cape. After cutting, I carefully take it off and lightly shake it (while keeping it horizontal) so that the hair gathers into clumps. Once the big clumps are removed, the rest of the small clippings can be shaken off in the shower. Then you just give the wire frame two turns (i.e. into thirds), fold it up and stuff it back into the bag.

This is great for cutting my childrens hair, no more mess on the floor! I just don't let them put their hands through the holes and it works great! I also use this for myself when I color my hair, I don't have to worry about little accidental drips on my clothes. I read other reviews saying it was hard to fold up but it isn't that difficult at all. Just do the figure 8 and it fits right back into the bag like it came. Easy storage, perfect for what I need.
