Weak construction

I installed this gate valve, next day 5am a neighbor is knocking frantically. Waking me to let me know that the valve blew apart spraying water all over. The water pressure was 120 psi the valve is rated too 125 psi. The area below the handle couldn't take the pressure that's where it broke. So I installed a water pressure regulator to lower the pressure to the house. After the pressure regulator I installed another one of these gate valves so now the pressure is set to 70 psi. I hope the gate valve can handle the pressure with out blowing apart again.
