This mat feels very nice. However, there are a few things about it that I wasn't expecting. First, there is some rippling in the plastic. I haven't had the mat very long so I don't know if this will flatten out with time, but that is how it came out of the box. Secondly, it is a bit more peach-colored than I was expecting (I got the ivory one). I wanted it to be just kind of off-white, but it does have some color to it. Thirdly, it is a bit thicker than I thought it would be. I can definitely feel some cushioning in the colored part of the mat that is on the desk. Now for the stuff that you can't really see in the picture. The colored, bottom part of the mat is slightly textured, a bit like crocodile skin (you can see the pattern in one of the pictures, but it is definitely textured to the touch). The whole things is a very soft plastic. This together with the textured bottom makes it somewhat easy for pictures and things to move a little under the clear plastic. The clear plastic that you put things under is a flap that connects along the top of the mat. Also, it is quite a bit narrower/longer than I was expecting. The side that looks longer in the picture is definitely longer than I thought it would be. These are a few things I wish I would have known before purchasing this product and can be viewed as both positives or negatives depending; however, I am still happy with it and excited to use it!

I love how soft the vinyl is and the grid mark pattern on the flap. the color is nice and neutral and compliments my desk well.

This desk mat is great! It is cushy and the clear plastic isn't bumpy so when you write you paper is smooth. It's well made not like the chep stuff. I came folded in half so it had a crease down the middle. I took a blow dryer to it and ironed it out with my hand to smooth it out. I purchased it for work and am looking to buy another one for home. I really love this!

I absolutely love this desk mat. It is just as described. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little bigger.

I really like this blotter even though it is more peach than ivory. Would buy it again.
