I really like this product because it is just the right size for a small portable flashlight, I ordered some for Mom to have by the bed and around the house to use as needed. The on/off switch is simple, and the light weight is perfect for her. After the battery runs out you can just disconnect the LED part and put it on a new 9-volt battery. Great product! I have purchased these several times already. I have several of these scattered around in various emergency kits. Handy size and great reliability. I have been using them for years.

The alternative was replacing multiple batteries in a penlight. The 9 volt lasts a long time if you remember to turn it off. Daaah!

I had one of these a long time ago but it's so small that even with a 9V battery attached, it can get lost, hence my replacement. It's about 70-ish lumens, similar in power to my Energizer Hard Case 90 degree flashlight (the IPX4). Not super powerful, but let's be real, people who actually use flashlights in the dark know that 70 lumens is like opening those thick curtains at grandma's house on a sunny day. Those 700-1,000 lumen flashlights are completely unnecessary for a typical day-to-day, IMHO. This pocket light I literally carry in that tiny pocket on the right side of my jeans, since it's always a perfect fit. Always on hand and it doesn't drain the 9V battery very badly since they're LEDs. By the way, this flashlight is literally a cap that sticks onto a 9V battery's terminals. Snaps together like Lego's. Some people might not feel comfortable about that, but it works just fine.
