Summertime is way too hot for even the lightest duvets and comforters I own, so I wanted to go back to using a lightweight coverlet. Even though this is billed as a "quilt," it is more like a simple quilted cotton bedspread than a heavy quilt---great for me, it's exactly what I need for these summer months!
This spread is reversible, with the light gray color prominent on one side and the white color prominent on the other. It's very lightweight but the quilted element allows it to keep its shape more than just a loose fabric bedspread: much easier to shake out and make the bed quickly! As for size, this came down about halfway on my queen bed; I suppose on a full bed it would be more like it looks in the picture. The pillow shams are standard size, not queen. Since it's not that thick, it's also much easier to wash and dry---a bonus!

I love this quilt. I really loved my comforter but even the lightest weight was too warm for me lately. I use a cotton blanket with this cotton quilt and it's just right. The color is a nice grey and the pattern is great for a more modern look. I've washed a few times and comes out great.

This bedspread is so comfortable - it has a nice weight to it - not too heavy and not too light - just right! And it is all cotton. This is the second bedspread that I have from City Scene and I love both of them - would definitely recommend them and I will try other items from this company as needs arise.
