We returned it.

The one we just returned was inconsistent and couldn't be trusted - not what I find acceptable in a home security system.
It repeatedly sent alerts to our phones that the Panic button had been pushed; sometimes when we were in the house watching tv and knew that it hadn't been touched.
It would show a door open when it wasn't or show one as closed that was standing open.
It constantly sent notices to our phones that the system had just been armed (or disarmed) when no change had been made for hours. (Quite unsettling to be an hour away from home and get a notice that the system had just been disarmed! The first time we imposed on our neighbor to go check on the house.)
It would send a notice to one of our phones but not the other phone - even when both phones were in the same room.

Cheaply made toy, spotty software, hardware falling apart.

This "security" system is as bare bones as it comes. Everything in the box is cheaply made, the door sensors were falling apart from the second they were removed from the box. The app is in a good starting place, but needs development and quality of life updates. The Skylink brand has done an absolutely incredible job with marketing and branding, it is absolutely masquerading as professional hardware. But it's not, it's a set of plastic toys cheaply placed together and marked up far above actual value.
Requesting a refund as parts of this were literally falling apart from the moment they were removed from the box. If you want a smart security system that will last, consider something like Abode.

Great if you don't want to pay a monthly fee...

Wanted a system that would not have a monthly cost associated with it for our 2nd home. We have 2 cameras as well motion detectors in each room and door alarms on each door. Additionally we use the 2 way appliance outlets so that we can turn our lights on and off when we are away (and can see whether they are on or off!) I just turn lights on randomly when I turn them on at home and turn them off when going to bed so it's easy to remember to do it. We LOVE this unit and highly recommend. Their customer service (Virgil especially) is second to none. You will not be sorry if you make this your choice for an alarm system.
Ok but many limitations

I found it easy to install and the app works nicely. The motion sensors are not pet immune. You are limited to using their hardware addons, however IFTTT functionality help a little. Their cameras have excellent video quality, but can't be recommended due to their limitations. The camers provide only a continous video stream and the video from it can only be recorded when you push the skylink app record button on your phone. It has no ability to save to a sd card or to a local computer, capture snap shots or initiate notifications by itself. So by the time you might receive a notification from your external motion sensor of a detection and you open the camera app, it is to late to capture much that you can record. You have no ability to rewind the video to see what you may have missed. Their screw in light dimmers are huge at least as large as a softball and don't fit any any of my table lamps that have lamp shades. Looking at switching to SmartThing.
