Great buy! It arrived just in the nick of time too with my one year old son becoming more fascinated with throwing and banging things like the TV screen with his toys and other objects. That was the main purpose for the screen protector and it passed with flying colors. The downside, it reduces the excellent viewing angle of the TV, but that is a small inconvenience to deal with though to protect a very expensive TV. It was very easy to install as well.
Good product for glare reduction

The manufacturer recommends this for inside use only but the only reason I need glare reduction is because I use the TV outdoors on a patio, so I ended up taking the risk on outdoor use and it seems to work well. The plastic is heavy enough that it probably would damage the TV screen if it bounces around due to wind , but between the strap on the back and velcro in the front it seems quite secure.
This is actually a very nice product. I just wish it was about 1 inch wider since, even though my 55 inch TV has a narrow border, I can't use the velcro on the sides because the protector is just a bit wider than the screen itself and doesn't cover the entire border on the sides. That said, I use the velcro on the bottom part of the TV, which may be even better given the outside use
As others have mentioned (in reviews of this product for different sized TVs) the sharpness of the picture does get affected somewhat but it doesn't bother me enough to be an issue and I am pretty detail oriented. This is more of an issue if you hold the plastic 1-2 feet away from the TV and look through it, and less of an issue when the plastic is 1 inch from the TV screen.
Glare reduction is pretty good, but not perfect (I doubt it can be). I enclosed a photo showing the glare on the TV with the protector, vs the glare on an ordinary window. All in all - I'd rather watch TV outside with product than without it.

Great Screen; keeps the glare to a minimum and ...

Great Screen; keeps the glare to a minimum and arrived in a day or so which was awesome. We installed it ASAP, and would have received a 5 star rating except the mounting system consisted of Velcro that didn't stick so we had to use some cellophane tape to hold the corners to the TV.
This was pretty easy to install

After an accident cracked my last LCD television, I was not about to let a repeat of that incident happen again. This was pretty easy to install, it basically just hangs from the top of the TV's frame. It included some Velcro strips to keep the protector firmly attached to the TV's frame.
At first, I thought the Non-Glare filter was going to be a problem. It seemed the picture was not as clear with the screen protector on at first. But that is because I was looking at the screen close up while installing the protector. From normal viewing angles/distances, it's quite nice. It does reduce glare fairly well, especially since my TV does not have a matte finish.
Now, I haven't really tested how well it protects from impact. My last TV was cracked by an empty 20-oz bottle of soda (which tells you how fragile these TV's can be). This screen protector seems pretty hardy, and sits far enough from the actual screen so an impact won't directly hit the screen. I can assume it will pass the empty plastic bottle test, but I'm not about to start chucking things at the TV just to see what it can withstand. I would guess, based on the construction, that small objects like remote controls, Wii controllers, and the like should hold up. I probably wouldn't practice my speed ball pitches with a baseball against it, however.
Pros: Easy to install. Reduces glare on non-matte finished screens. Reviews seem to indicate that this can take a good beating (but I haven't tested myself).
Cons: Seems to build up quite a bit static electricity between the protector and television screen. Not a huge deal, but that static seems to attract dust faster than a bare screen would. Really only noticeable when you are trying to dust the inside the the protector (if dust gets up in there).
Bottom Line: Worth the money if you have kids, play a lot of motion-controlled video games (Wii, Kinect, etc), or are occasionally clumsy. It's pretty pricey for a piece of tempered plastic, but much cheaper than replacing a 60" LCD set.
