I love this sign, because if you work with it a little, it can do just about anything. The sign arrived directly from mainland China, well-protected in a wooden crate. If someone had driven a tank over it, I don't think I would have been able to tell. Inside that, the box containing the sign was completely covered in several layers of yellow tape. I still don't know whether the whole box was made of tape. DHL should have saved time by just dropping it from their plane instead of driving it all the way from the airport. Did I mention it was carefully packed? I plugged in the sign, and it immediately began playing a brilliant, full-color movie trailer for Disney's "Up", leaving no doubt the sign can play videos. It took me a little while to get the included Windows software configured to connect to the sign over my network, because the software had trouble finding it automatically. Three months later, I still frequently have to type the sign's IP address into the software manually to help it locate the sign. However, that is one of only a few issues I have with the software. The sign has given me no trouble whatsoever, and only the software has given me occasional headaches. For example, when the sign would not play a whole message before repeating it, I decided to try deleting the "program" containing that text and starting over, and it worked fine afterwards. I have had to do that every now and then, but most of the time, it works fine. It helps if you are patient and slightly geeky, because you have to learn a few of the software's quirks. I emailed the manufacturer in the beginning with a few questions, because I was having trouble communicating with the sign, and someone named "Jack W" responded in less than an hour. I followed up with a related question, and he responded again in less than an hour. I was very pleased with the promptness of the assistance I received. The sign works beautifully, and I love the full-color capability. The sign has an internal clock that will keep good time after you tell the software to sync it with your computer's clock. Your computer only connects to the sign when you are sending it something; then, you can turn off your computer, and the sign will do everything you told it to do, including displaying certain messages on particular dates and times. Anything can be set to start on a particular date and time and end on a particular date and time, right down to the seconds. You can preview the behavior of anything before you send it to the sign. There are many text effects, and you can have text scroll from any direction at any speed. You can select any fonts and many sizes and colors, including custom colors. The font types, sizes, and colors can differ on a per-character basis. You can upload video clips to it. Although this sign won't pull content such as RSS feeds, it is extremely versatile, and even the software is pretty good. I also like the fact that all three of the primary colors (red, green, blue) are co-located in the same emitter. I read some of the prior reviews wherein people were having trouble, and I think it is possible that their signs actually work but that they were having trouble figuring out quirks in the software. I could be wrong but think it is possible, especially since I had a few problems but was fortunate to have the time and patience to try a few things that solved each of the few problems I experienced. Let's put it this way: I have had much bigger problems with Windows in the past than with the software for this sign! I use it all the time and love it.

Worked well at first. After 2 days the screen became scrambled and I was unable to actually contact the sellers for help, and was unable to return it. Not happy at all.
