These are great shorts! They fill a gap very well when riding in variable conditions. The are a great addition to cool weather kit and can be viewed as a gilet for the lower torso. You can pack these on every ride in fall and inter to give you extra peace of mind that it might get too cool or might warm up more than heavy weight or light weight bibs would tolerate.
I find that I can easily ride into the mid to low 30's (F) with short bib's knee warmers and these shorts. Its great to be able to drop gear as the day warms up, or know that if the day is warmer or there's a chance of rain, that you can throw these on or take them off as needed.
