Good product for the price

This is a nice product for the money. I needed something just a little longer for one of my rods, so I opted to try the orifice 36 inch carryall. It is constructed a little bit better, but definitely costs more.
Great buy

Highly recommend I've got 5 rods and 5 reels in mine along with all the supplies I need. I purchased for a friend who don't have the room for poles, tackle boxes, holders and such"¦ takes up no space easy carry and everything I need for several people. I'm definitely getting another if I don't just keep this for myself lol
Great for the traveling fisherman

Mine holds six fly rods (4 piece) and six reels as well as other gear. It offers great protection and can go with you on the plane as carry-on.
Excellent bag but not for overhead on plane.

If you read some of the other reviews they lead you to believe that you can put this case in the overhead on a plane. Not true. The limit on most planes is 22 inches. This is 31.5 so forget it. It has to checked. I have been carrying the old bazooka rod case for years but since 911, this case gets more attention than it should. TSA takes the rods out that were perfectly wrapped and then puts them in the wrong way and has bent guides and broken rod tips. This last trip someone didn't put the pin that holds the top on correctly and it was missing when I got to Florida and I was lucky that the case didn't come apart and loose my four rods! I have since replaced my rods with four piece travel rods and retired my three piece ones. I hated to do it but felt now is the time. This case is very well made and will easily take four , 4 piece rods if out of their own case. You can squeeze a half inch more if you put a rod diagonally and get a 31 inch rod in, otherwise end to end it's 30.5. Big enough for most travel rods. There is room for other stuff since you're checking the bag anyway you might as fill it up and take a chance on the TSA guy being careful. The dividers inside might help to made the top more durable and hopeful crushproof but the case itself looks fairly strong. The pictures of this bag are accurate so you get the idea of what you're getting.. I have my fingers crossed for my next trip with new rods. We will see.
Bigger than it looks

This little case was a big surprise. First of all, delivery was super quick given I'm on the other side of the world. Secondly, when I opened the box I was a little worried about the size. Will all my stuff fit in it. Boy oh boy was I surprised. My two main rods and my 5 reels fit comfortably with room to spare. Fly boxes fit neatly in the outside pockets and spare line and bits on the inside pockets. The quality is fair and the durability will only be tested with time. One drawback for me is that my small thin tube with my backup rod just doesn't fit, only just though. It would have been perfect if it did.
