These worked better than orkin traps. We are on a maintenance plan with orkin since we live in the woods. My parrot's bird seed brought a moth infestation. Orkin put out their traps and we still saw moths. On orkin's numerous quarterly treatments we told our orkin guy we were seeing moths. He would check the traps and find just a few moths in the trap and would tell us they have the problem under control. But we kept seeing moths flying around and would kill 3 or 4 each night.

So I bought these traps just to see if these traps would catch more. And after a few months I checked the traps and there are oodles of moths stuck to the sides. Amazing.... I am so glad I got these traps. I no longer see moths flying around.

So much better than orkin! And, I kept the orkin traps up and they still have just a few moths.

We've had pantry moths for a while now and have been quite lazy about getting rid of them (much to my chagrin). I've bought these and they work like gangbusters. They can take a while to get noticed but when they do, it's a slaughter house. They can get unsightly they catch so many moths. I just put my last one up (ordered another 3 pack) 2 days ago and we have at least a dozen in the one trap I have left. I like to put them up in multiple locations around the kitchen (top of fridge, etc). Very, very effective. Live in Southern CA.

I noticed a couple of moths in my pantry one day and was frantic to find the source. After I killed the critters and went through boxes and packaged items and cleaning in the pantry, I did research on Amazon and ordered these traps. Despite all my cleaning efforts, there still continued to be moths flying around. When the traps arrived two days later, I immediately assembled two and placed one high and low in the pantry. Over the next 3 days, the traps attracted a number of moths but I continued to kill any I spotted flying about as well as cleaning corners and around the door frame. It was probably a full week from the day I first spotted the moths until the day that I didn't see anything flying when I opened the pantry door. I replaced the "used" traps with fresh traps and so far they have no "victims" and there is nothing flying about. These traps are WONDERFUL! Just as a precaution, I will keep them in my pantry from now on. I repackage most items, like cereal and pasta, into plastic storage containers. But, even so I got what could have been a terrible infestation without fast action and these Catchmaster Pantry Moth Traps.

We suddenly found ourselves with a mothy problem that was growing, and realized it was from storing a hand-me-down food-vac storage system and boxes of refill vac-bags that apparently were infested with pantry moth eggs. We bought two brands - this Catchmaster 812sd Pantry Moth Traps (3 Pack) and the Able Catch 6 Pantry Moth Pest Traps - Pro-Strength brand. Six of each.

In NO time, these Catchmaster ones were loading up, catching moths. The other brand (Able) caught ONE. Total. Ever. On one trap. The other traps caught none.

Nearly six months later, these Catchmaster ones are STILL catching new straggling moths that are hatching. Even though they are still catching, they say they catch "up to three months", and we've nearly doubled that time period. I figure using new traps will be our best bet to continue getting these moths until they are all gone. So, I'm buying new ones of THESE again today, because THESE Catchmaster brand works... unlike the competitor's brand that I bought who caught that one, sad, errant moth.

As long as you received the traps which are white in color you will be set (the traps with a wooden motif on the outside must be the old model and do NOT trap as well). These trap moths like you would not believe! (I had previously purchased the eco-friendly version from Safer, which perhaps killed 2 moths.) My mother's home was infested with moths, but after these traps, no longer. Also, these are not for clothes moths; you need to purchase a different trap if interested in killing that variety of moth. There was some confusion on the Amazon website and they kept sending me the wrong edition (wooden motif) of the trap even though I was purchasing the "new edition"; I hope they fixed the problem.
