Really like it, but wish it came smaller
Nails Mom✓ Verified Purchase•June 18, 2018
Really like it, but wish it came smaller. I am a one person home and hate the thoughts of using a "dish drainer" as how many dishes can one person have a night??? Bought this but found it too large, so I just cut it in half........ No problem.
Made in China! :(

Great mat for under things like the coffee pot. The reason for the 3 stars is made in China. I know a lot of things are made in China but I try not to buy them whenever possible wish this was stated in the description.
Takes the “yuck†out of your dishstrainer

I saw my mom had one of these and was jealous. What a great idea? I am amazed at the absorption quality.? Rather than having a strainer full of water that gets "yucky" sometimes and can draw unwanted bugs, this may absorbs the water without worry. You gotta try this!
Good for quick, small uses

This is one of my favorite products. I know that it is just a simple mat, but it has given me a new perspective on cleaning. I used to fill up the dishwasher and wash, but with this little thing, I just wash immediately. I put it right on the mat and by the morning everything is nice and dry. When I am done, I just fold it up and put it away.
I used to have this extraordinarily large dish rack and it drove me crazy. With this little mat, it takes up little to no space and only for the time that I need it. With the dish rack, there was no way to fold it and put it away when I was done - it was an eyesore. I love, love, love this!
This is just for quick washes - not for family reunion cleaning! LOL If you are the type to wash dishes immediately after use (like I do), then this mat is good for you. Even if you do not do that, but every now and then you are the only one eating or you do not have a lot of dishes to do, this is also good for you.

because the insides won't dry and you will have set up the perfect environment to grow bacteria

I've used this before and it works for my hand-washed dishes , glasses, and utensils. I put them on the drying mat, let some of the moisture get soaked up, and transfer them to a drying rack. Beware, however, if you put classes and cups open mouth down, you will trap moisture, because the insides won't dry and you will have set up the perfect environment to grow bacteria. I always Let those things drip onto the mat for a few minutes and then I put them on a rack to thoroughly dry. this will ensure your not getting sick from contaminated drink-ware.
