Works, but quality control issues from FirstVision Technologies
Hg•September 10, 2017
Worked great for 7-8 times, then nothing, bought new batteries, still nothing, think I got a bad one, seemed like it was quality made, but it failed to function within hours, and FirstVision Technologies made getting it replaced a challenge,I would recommend making sure you buy from Amazon instead of just the cheapest seller on here, simply because Amazon makes things sooo much easier if there is an issue,FirstVision Technologies was not willing to replace or repair it.but being sooo cheap,it did initially function.
Great Product.

Replaced a destroyed Asian import. Your price was 3 times higher. I did not have a problem paying more as the value you have added is well worth the increased price. I've listed my thoughts and comparisons below.
1. Needs a sport style wrist band for ease of use during workouts. I fashioned my own an found it much more usable and more ergonomic. It all so facilitate keeping your eyes watching where your going and any hazards that may lay ahead. I would go so far as to say that if it were my decision to make I would eliminate the lanyard to help defray some of the cost of a quality wristband.
2. A lithium ion battery making the unit USB rechargeable would be a huge improvement and add considerable value.
3. The rubber glove that your unit has is a great idea and has protected mine from drop damage many times.
4. I took it with me to my last cardiologist visit. Iwanted to see how well it was calibrated against a hospital grade piece of equipment. Result? Dead on on both numbers.
Where I live and excercise is on what was voted the best multiuse trail in America. I belive you product enough that I would consider making a quantity purchase and reselling them myself. I could also provide some valuable marketing info. You have my email. If you would like to discuss this further (I find voice conversations far more revealing than e-communication) my cell is 267-249-4090.
Thank you for this opportunity to provide feedback.

I use it to monitor afib.
L. R. Jackson•August 22, 2016
I use this to monitor my afib condition and have found it to give an accurate reading and is a good value.
Four stars because it's sensitive to finger placement. Often I have to adjust finger position to get a reading before it times out. I take my own reading and this leads to another problem, namely the display is upside down from my point of view. Again there is a good chance the display would time out before I could remove my finger and turn it around to read. I would recommend the manufacturer to increase the delay timeout slightly or ideally give the monitor the capability to flip the display orientation.
Overall this is a good product at a good price and I would recommend it.

Good pulse ox, good price
JConn•August 9, 2016
I've only had this pulse ox a few days, but I am impressed with the quality. Im a prehospital nurse and this is a great backup to have in case my monitor battery dies. It picks up quickly and is accurate. You do have to be pretty still to get a reading. I tried it with my 9 month old and I don't know if it was his finger being too small or him squirming but I couldn't get a reading. Otherwise it's been great.
affordable and reassuring if you have health issues
Jersey Girl•June 14, 2016
It is exactly as I expected and works as it should. I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable it is. I was seriously ill last year with pneumonia. Part of the reason I ended up in the hospital is that I didn't realize just how sick I was. When it was time to go home, I was worried about keeping tabs on myself. I decided to buy one of these to monitor my oxygen levels at home. I found it very helpful and reassuring to gauge how I was doing. When I got a chest cold recently and was worried that it would evolve into pneumonia, I pulled out this oximeter again. By checking my oxygen levels periodically, I could see that I was just fine and it was regular cold. Now my sister has learned that she has blood clots in her lungs. Even though she is under treatment, she is understandably nervous about this. I had the idea that this pulse oximeter might give her some reassurance. Because it is so reasonably priced, I ordered and sent one to her. She has thanked me. When she felt out of breath and was afraid that she might be in danger, she used the device and saw that her oxygen level was fine, and relaxed.
