I was disappointed in this mascara because it's not really anything exceptional. It requires lots of stroking and does not make my lashes look that different when finished. I'm a retired makeup artist and love volumizing mascaras. Frankly, there are some great mascaras sold in the drugstores. I like other Josie Maran products, so that's why I tried the mascara.

I've been trying to find a decent mascara that isn't full of chemicals. So far my options have been limited. I tried this (two tubes worth to give it a good shot) and it was not what I expected. 1) the brush was too large and awkward to use 2) only lasted a short while before the mascara itself started clumping in the bottle And would go on messy 3) mascara was terrible for flaking within hours. Will not buy this again.
