Really cool for the price but I wish it came with a remote because the patterns are really repetitive and I constantly want to change the speed but I have it mounted on the ceiling and risk injury from falling every time I mess with the little switches on the back of it. I like it more as a laser light effect with fog, then the dot patterns it projects. I really wish I could program my own patterns or at least disable some of them. I hadn't notice from the videos that one of the patterns spells out the word love. Pretty cheesy, I was going to use this for my set, I write electronic music that is influenced from darker styles like industrial music. A light that says "love" over and over again isn't exactly the kind imagery I am going for and can possibly get me made fun of but I still love this light because it is different and at a good price. You won't see me buying those super expensive american dj lights that project images of birthday cakes and smiley faces, anytime soon. I mean who buys a $400 hundred dollar light that says happy birthday?lol Also, about this light again, the sound setting basically doesn't work or you have to turn up your music to a piss off your neighbors and have the cops called on you level. All and all, this light is good to go with a collection of other lights and only used for short segments of time because the patterns get old but yet the are hypnotizing. I might get a second one , they should do away with the Love pattern though.

Great Light for the money! Is made of cheap plastic but what do you expect at this price? Here are some helpful INSTRUCTIONS if you need them. Sound Activation Mode Switch 9 will be down and all others up. The rotating knob on the right side will control the microphones sensitivity to the sound and increasing it will activate the light with less sound. Auto Mode Switches 9 and 10 must be down. Adjusting switches 1 through 8 down will increase the lights speed with all switches down being the fastest speed. Hope that helps somebody.

I bought 2 of these lights on a whim for a halloween display. They were fantastic! I love the feature that they change to the beat of the music! They are pretty bright and vibrant and do work well in reacting to the music if you place them very close to the speakers. There are a lot of other cool functions which I didn't try because the auto function worked so well. I was considering much more expensive lights, but I'm thrilled I saved the money and bought these as they worked very well. I will add that I used them in my very cold garage, and there were no issues.

Groovy little light! Love that it is LED, and doesn't get hot. the patterns are fun, but one of them is the word "WELCOME", which is weird, but whatever. I saw some people complain about the dip switches, and the instructions, but I had no trouble at all with them. It works great! Know this: the spread isn't big, so if you want to cover a big wall, you gotta get way back. That said, the light stays nice and clear and doesn't "fuzz out" at long distances. I shot it out into the trees behind my house bandit looked pretty cool! I also saw people complain about the mounting bracket, but it'll do fine for me. I might reinforce it, because it's gonna get knocked around at dances, but I secure all my gear. the mic on back works to make it dance with the music, too, after I set the pin switches properly. I think they should include a diagram, not just text instructions, though, for people not familiar using them. I think the price was pretty good, and it will be a great addition to my fog/light show.

I absolutely love this light! I would love to buy two more. Very easy to install and set up. The best is that it is far brighter than I thought it would be. Cannot wait to get more!
