I swear by the function and insulation value both heat and cold are diminished by a great amount. without documenting the test and r values and btu's saved or lost. the next step would be ridgid foam board insulation covered in aluminum reflective coating.

I used this to compliment the garage door insulation kit by the same manufacturer. Door was oversized and required additional material. It is very easy to install and it has remained in place as advertised. There is a noticeable drop in the heat and expecting similar results in cold insulation.
