The set arrived the next day after I ordered around 4pm! I wasn't expecting great material but I was wrong. Everything from the pillow cases to the comforter, it was nice and soft! I was able to toss everything in the washer and dryer and nothing was ruin. It's coloful and my toddler who's in love with dinosaur absolutely loved the set. In fact, he even willingly took a nap in his toddler bed!

This was exactly what we were looking for as a transition bedspread for our little boy to go from crib to toddler bed! We wanted to make the transition as exciting to him as possible as so my husband and I purchased this bed set for our 2.5 year old dinosaur obsessed son as a way of congratulating him on now sleeping in a big boy bed. He was SO excited! He stayed in his bed playing for almost an hour pointing out the dinosaurs and roaring and exclaiming that he loves dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are not too babyish and not too realistic (or mean looking), the perfect in between!

I was a bit skeptical as some of the reviews explained the colors ran, or the fabric ripped when washed so I was sure to wash everything on cold and tumble dried it on medium heat before we made his bed up for him to use it. No colors ran and there was no damage to anything. It also stayed as vibrant after being washed as it was when we had opened it.

It is not cotton. I knew that before I purchased it and was personally not afflicted with this. It is still pretty soft and cozy. The comforter is not heavy, it is quite thin in fact. But our son is hot like a furnace in his sleep so we did not want a heavy blanket even for these record low winter days. This is exactly what we were looking for.

Granted, its only been used for one weekend at this point and it has only been washed once. If my feelings change at all on this product after a few washes and months of use I will most definitely update my review.

But for now; I love it, my husband loves it, and most importantly our son loves it!

Trying to find a toddlers bed set that didn't hurt my wallet while being sturdy enough to go through the trials and terror of my mini dinosaur child was a lot of trial, error, and fear.
Fear not with this. It has been wash, trampled on, snuggled up with, and cocoon tested by my little one and it's still in one piece with no signs of wear and tear 4 months later.
It is bright, colorful, and has many different dinosaurs all over the sheets, pillows and blanket. It everything I was looking for when searching the darkest reaches of amazon for a decent dino-riffic (oh, yeah ... I just said that) bed set for my little roaring prince. <3

The struggle to get my 3 year old to sleep in his own bed is real! However, like countless other preschool age boys, he is a hardcore "Thomas the train" fan. This train themed bedding set is exactly what I was looking for! It's bright, colorful, surprisingly soft and of course, full of trains:). My son was so excited about his new "Choo choo train bed" that he actually asked to sleep in his own bed and has continued to do so ever since.

The sheets were already quite soft before washing and have held up to many washes (I don't dare put him to bed with different sheets yet). I also love that the blanket is reversible, the opposite side matching the sheets. A quality bedding set at a decent price. The fact that he is happily sleeping in his own bed...priceless;)

It is Okay at best, don't get me wrong as my son loves it. What we don't like is how light the blanket is (not good for winter or even 60 degrees Fahrenheit outside fall weather) as my son complained how cold he gets with it even with the indoor thermastat set to 68. The sheet itself is nothing that good (Not cotton) or feel really robust. We bought it because it was cheap and my son loves dinosaurs.
