Really handy to have, a great value

Wish I would have bought a hammer like this years ago.
Super handy to have around for general use. I use it mostly for woodworking, but its also great for assembly and general tinkering. It doesn't leave a mark or damage the object you're working on unless you're really ignorant. So far the plastic end has held up pretty well after repeated banging. Seems to be better quality than the comparable Harbor Freight hammer.
The screw on ends are a little loose and won't tighten down to my satisfaction, and the Tekton sticker peeled off easily, leaving sticky residue, but for the price, you can't beat it. Great tool to have around the garage.

Have several hammers from sears, craftsman. all are broken and most only last 10 months. I use just turn them in and get new ones for free. but the quality is getting worse. and the stores are closing so returning them is getting harder. so I saw this hammer for under 10 dollars. so I got one.
used for a week every day over 1000 blows on the this hammer. it was holding up nicely .
so nice in fact, I bought 2 more. they slip out of my tool belt faster, easier to grab. lighter weight overall, but still does the job nicely.
also like i can just buy the heads if i choose too. option not available on other hammers i have used.
all members of my crew will have these soon if they last for longer than a year.

For me this is a good mallet.

This is a good mallet, but there is nothing soft about unless you compare it to a regular metal hammer. Having said that I really like this mallet and use it quite often. It has come in handy a number of times where a metal hammer wasn't the right tool for the job.
Good and Affordable Mallet

Great soft-end mallet to be used for average projects that need a gentle smack. The weight of the mallet is about right to hold it comfortably and to give the target area a good punch. The mallet it too small for hammering in large dowels, but fine for small ones or other metal parts that need to be put in their place. Great price too, if it stays down.
