Cooked unevenly.

First of all, I had to remove my carousel plate from the microwave as this bacon cooker is oblong and would not fit if allowed to rotate. I cooked 5 pieces of bacon and covered it loosely with a paper towel so as not to splatter all over the inside of my microwave. I was very disappointed because the bacon cooked so unevenly. I had to keep snipping cooked portions off and removing them from the microwave then cooking for another 30 seconds, snip and remove and repeat several times. Luckily the bacon I was cooking was for a recipe that called for small pieces. Had it been for breakfast, it would not have been the ideal way to cook. I have had better luck with cooking bacon between paper towels rather than using this plate. I'm very disappointed.

I bought this to use when traveling and cooking bacon for breakfast in a hotel room. Found out it is too large for those small microwaves. Turned out to be great at home in my larger oven. Saves me cleaning the glass plate so often. I cook everything on it - potatoes, popcorn bags - just about everything.

I wanted to get out of the habit of stopping for my morning breakfast sandwich at the local fast food restaurant. It was expensive and meant I had to leave home early in order to get to work on time. I bought this little pan, and it has been great! Every weekend I use this pan to cook a pound of bacon, and keep the cooked bacon in the fridge. Every morning, I am able to throw a couple of pieces in the microwave for a few seconds and make my own muffin/biscuit/bagel sandwich that tastes so much better than the fast food one and in less time than waiting in line at the drive up window. The pan cleans up easily and is ready for the next weekend bacon marathon! Haven't yet used for sausage, but plan to. I think it will work just as well as it does with bacon.

The top only fits the one side of the tray that is smooth, not the ribbed side used for bacon. It allows bacon splatters to escape from where it doesn't fit tightly. Also, the large hole in the center of the top allows splatters to escape more easily (even if you cover it with a paper towel) than if it had just air vents there like some other brands (like Joie Piggy). Disappointing.

We bought this to replace an aging microwave dish that was developing a crack. While I think this is an adequate replacement, our previous one was square and larger. I read the description about the size but I didn't realize just how much smaller it was than our previous one. It's very hard to get more than 2 full size strips of bacon on one layer and most strips are actually longer than the width of the plate, which causes the strips to hang over the edge. Not good as it then drips on the microwave. You can "curve" the bacon to fit though. So we will continue to use this but will search for a better replacement that meets our needs.
