I know this product got some negative reviews but I had no issues with it. I found it easy to use with the visual instructions and after doing some research online to see how others were using it and what they had to say. It conjunction with a more expensive ovulation kit, pre-seed lubricant and a vitamin regime/diet adjustment - to my complete astonishment, I got pregnant my first time trying... and I was not expecting that. I know it advises against using this saliva ovulation kit to determine pregnancy but the estrogen readings post-ovulation were one of the first indications I was pregnant. This happened long before I got a positive result with any officially sanctioned pregnancy test. If there is a number two, I definitely plan to use this again as part of my conception plan. And in the meantime I'm going to loan it to a friend who has been trying to conceive for a while to see if this is useful to her. Will come back and edit post to reflect how that goes. My only complaint is that after a while (I tested every day, several times a day) - the light started to give me trouble and I would keep having to adjust it so it would stay on. But not enough of a problem for me to take off a star.

I have been using this this for the past week or so, 2 days after the the end of my period. In conjunction with ovulation strips, bbt, and cervical position, today's results seem to be completely accurate. I was so excited to see the ferning pattern this morning! Definitely more affordable than using ovulation strips and less of a guessing game. I would totally recommend this item as a low cost addition to the baby making, or body learning arsenal. Now on to the baby dance!

Excellent product!, I am using it along Billings ovulation method and it just a perfect combination for me since billings method tells me my fertile days and this one not only knows when I am fertile but also when I am ovulating!

A great product! We've been using the KnowWhen Fertility Monitor for 2 months. So far, I really like it. It's much more eco-friendly than testing with OPK strips every day, and I'm able to test as many times as I want (so as not to miss our window!). I see a very distinct "fern" pattern when our fertile window hits, and a "pebble" pattern when we've passed it.

One thing I would caution for: if your chemical levels (estrogen, testosterone, progesterone) aren't very stable from week to week, this method probably will not work for you. You might end up seeing a lot of ferning throughout the month (or none at all) depending on how much estrogen is in your body. I worked with a holistic doctor to level things out before we started trying, and everything seems to be spot on so far!

Overall a good product though, we're hoping to get our BFP using this soon! :)

Very cool product. Until I get the hang of it I'm using it in conjunction with LH test strips. The picture I'm including is the day I got a positive LH.
I'm rating 4 stars because the light doesn't work, but I found I can just use the light from my cell phone with a cloth over it. Also, the App Store says the app isn't available in my area so I can't download it. This isn't an issue for me because I use the Natural Cycles app.
I'm happy with it.
