My daughters (3 & 13) play with this together all the time. It's challenging to find an interactive toy/activity both of my girls can enjoy. I have even made a few Nightmare Moons and Fluttershys myself. 😂 I was worried that my toddler would be able to use the molds when we unboxed, but she picked up on it within a few "sessions" and now she can make them as well as my teen.
They provide a few small containers of play dough. I would get a couple of the larger containers, because it only made 2 ponies and we had to wait until we got more play dough to use them all which was disappointing for my girls, but I should have read more carefully and had the play dough waiting. So that was my fault.
Otherwise, really great toy with endless pony-making possibilities.
