Ordering another one for the boat!
Topher•August 15, 2017
I love this thing. I got it for my boat and actually put it on my truck to see if I'd really like it as much as I thought I would.
Long story short, I'm ordering another one for the boat because the one on my truck is staying.
This thing is a "Palm saver". I steer my 04 dodge 2500 Cummins with ease. Backing it up and maneuvering it is way easier now. I don't know why I waited so long to try one of these out.
Good solid construction and easy to install. I was weary about the price (Anything under $20 is usually cheap or junk. This is not.

Great Product

I have gone through quite a. number of turning knobs over the past year, none of which would stay in place, or be comfortable to use, Inevitably loosening either at the point at which it was fastened to the wheel or where the knob was fastened to the fastener. I am happy to report that this product is the best I've used. It is discrete, screws and solidly without any play and its knob turns freely and feels good to the touch. I am completely pleased with it. I don't often write good reviews but this was a winner.
GREAT! Used on CitE Car electric bus.

Great quality! Handles well, so fun. The steering wheel is a little thin but it still grips and really helps when backing through tight spaces. Manual steering though, and the fit is not tight enough to really crank the wheel around, but still an improvement.
makes steering a stick shift a lot easier
Lawrence Molczyk•July 13, 2017
I've been driving a stick shift for years because I wanted the extra mileage of not having an automatic transmission. At the same time it's very difficult to control a vehicle and shift gears at the same time when you're turning a corner especially. This has really made a difference in the ease of steering my stick shift Honda
Power handle

I like it, well made. BUT, a major pain to mount to the steering wheel.
The use of ANY Additional RUBBER material to mount this item will cause it to be too loose, and rotate out of position.
After trying several different rubber products to fill the gap, so the knob would stay in position. I used the same method suggested by another reviewer.
Fill the gap by using Duck Tape (3 or 4 wraps on my Kubota tractor) then added the rubber insulators that come with the item.
I had to compress the two pieces of the clamp together with adjustable pliers in order to tighten the mounting screw.
After all that it works great. My tractor has power steering so it works really well.
